MOTION DESIGN:
 REVERIE
REVERIE is a drama-thriller that blurs the lines between science, ethics, and the pursuit of the unknown through the development of an underground drug, known as Chroma. Featured here is the opening title sequence.

DEFINING THE PROJECT
REVERIE is a fictional TV show about the clandestine world of underground labratories and mind-altering substances. It explores themes of ethics, and internal struggle. With this plot in mind I developed a moodboard that evokes feelings of chaos and secrecy.

GATHERING THE FOOTAGE
EXPERIMENTATION
I took the opportunity to explore an analogue production style for this project, opting to gather my own footage rather than trying to recreate the effects digitally. I spent many evenings in my kitchen doing science experiments to get the visuals I was looking for.

MANIPULATING FOOTAGE
After gathering enough raw footage, I used adobe premier to splice and color correct footage to achieve a vibrant, psychadelic look.

MOTION TESTING
I took my footage and planned the flow of my sequence. I was particularly focused on was the transition between different clips. Originally, I planned to have the footage slide as if under a microscope, but it felt too sterile and went against the psychadelic feeling I hoped to evoke.

FINAL SEQUENCE The final sequence is the cumulation of all of the experimentation I did during this process, honed in and refined through the lense of my story.
