TITLE MAGAZINE:
ISSUE 008
TITLE mag is a fashion and art magazine that encourages the creative collective to collaborate, challenge conventional ways of thinking, and make cool sh*t.
For Issue 008,  I worked with the ever-talented layout team.

PROJECT CONCEPT
+ MOODBOARD
Forgotten visualizes the affects that alzheimer's disease can have on a person's perception of time and their memories. To suit this concept we aimed to convey an isolated and fleeting feeling among the spreads.

CREATING IMAGERY SOURCING
To get ourselves thinking about memory and time,  we all gathered family photos and fond memories. These photos would serve both as ample conversation starter, and as the base of our graphic imagery.

TREATMENTTo strengthen our tie with the Issue's theme of "time" we decided to give a cyanotype-like effect to our images. This image treatment combined with overlayed writing from the back of the photos aimed to evoke powerful feelings of nostalgia.

LAYOUT &
TYPOGRAPHY
We leaned in to full-bleed imagery that emphasizes the singular subjects as isolated, otherworldly. Paired with typography that is broken and blurred, the writing feels separate and distanced.

FINAL SPREADS
We took our graphics and paired them with broken typography to create a final piece that feels distant, silenced, and fleeting.
